    BSA 4t

    Hi - probably a simple question - on BSA 4ts - is the number 4 mk 1 normally visible on the receiver next to the t? I've seen pics of some and haven't noticed it being visible before but saw one today where it was.

    It is certainly marked on mine (1945 production) No.4 Mk.1.

    It was originally there on all of them, but it is usually very shallow & is often not readily apparent especially if the rifle has been refinished once or twice....
