    P14 high numbering

Can someone please answer the following question?

I have an Eddystone P14 numbered ERA 674xxx. All present and correct with Britishicon inspection and proof markings. The only book I have on the P14 is Stratton Vol. 4. (I would welcome suggestions for other books that cover the P14)
According to Stratton, the highest number recorded at the time of writing was 604971.

Does anyone else have a P14 numbered above 600xxx? Were more produced than previously thought, or did Eddystone deviate from a straight numbering sequence?

    Patrick

Sorry Pat. Can't help you. All of mine have 4 or 5 digit serial numbers. My book also says #604971 was the last one.
A bit of conjecture; I have an 03A3 assembled from parts in the early 1950's Its serial number is way out of range with the published numbers.
