Half track with a gas reactive star, GI wearing HBTs, finger on the trigger and USAicon number on the hood is wrong color blue drab. Hum, rifle has or looks to have a flush nut sight and grooved band. This is obviously a staged photo but when??? Maybe from a movie? Weren't the HBTs later?

    Great photo, thanks!

    Hey Bill,

I'm sure it was staged. I found it at SHORPY.com. They've got a lot of neat old photos to wander through and waste some serious time.

    Take care,
    W
