Lightbulb 1943 M1 and M2 Carbine Training Videos

With thanks to imarangemaster, we have added two new video tutorials to the "The Screening Room" (click here).

Cal .30 M1 Carbine (1943 WWII U.S. Training Film) (click here)

This is an excellent training video, which demonstrates through cut-a-ways and other training aids, the detailed principles of operation of the M1 Carbine.

Cal .30 M2 Carbine (1943 WWII U.S. Training Film) (click here).

This excellent video shows the unique design of the full automatic M2 Carbine and how it operates and functions. A live fire demonstration is conducted to compare the M2 with its Japaneseicon counterpart, the Type 100 (一〇〇式機関短銃 Hyaku-shiki kikan-tanju) 8mm submachine gun. It also details the changes that were made to make the M1 fire in fully automatic mode.
Both "Screening Room" entries have also been added as permanent sticky threads at the top of the M1 Carbine Forum.

    Regards,
    Badger

Updated above Knowledge Libraryicon entries with additional video file format versions of these two training movies.

There's now a version that presents a larger viewing picture for members with faster computers and high speed Internet connections.

We also added a version with a smaller picture size for members with slow computers and slow Internet connection speeds.

We hope this helps more members enjoy these videos.

    Feedback is welcome ...

    Regards,
    Badger
