    opinion on my 5.58 HRA

Maybe ten years back I bought a service grade of every manufacturer, when they first anounced you could pick manufacturer. I was looking at my HRA 5.58 million. LMR barrel I think is correct, 3/8 DAS stock I might have swapped off another M1icon.Stacking swivel screw appears to be staked by mushrooming the the end of the screw. Of note is that the muzzle crown is set deep is this typical of LMR barrels? I think all over parts are HRA stamped. Do these parts sound OK for the serial range?

I believe LMR barrels are found throughout HRA production.

The 3/8 DAS seems a little early but some original late rifles may have been found with them. IHCFAN (Wayne) would be a great resource on this.

    Merry Christmas!

When I had finished buying I did some parts swapping, and then bought a few items to finish the HRA and IHC. I decided this winter to spend a little time with the Garands.
