Need help on M1903 A3 hanguard clip

Can anyone tell me the proper location/measurements to assemble the clips on a new 1903a3 hand guard?

from the front of he HG to the center of the first clip 1 5/16" , from the front of the HG to the center of the 2nd clip (rear) 5 1/2". checked 3 handguards I had on hand.

most new handguards available today, will need fitted.
before you install the clips.
see if the band slides over the guard.. chances are youll have to take some off the bottom.
