    No.4 MK1

I have an Enfield No.4 MK1 rifle that has a synthetic stock. I want to put it back to original, and picked up a stock set. Problem is, the stock set is for MK2, as it has the forend reinforcing screw. I will make it work, but I sure could use some photos of the rear part of both MK1 and MK2 forends. Anybody know a site with good photos of this?

Get the right fore end for it ! Both beech and walnut are avalible in the USAicon, beech in the UKicon.(Stain it) You can convert but it will be a better job/ more valuble using the right parts.

Also country of origin, if you're going all the way with a "restoration".

All I've seen here recently is Mk.1 forends. If there's so little Mk.1 wood in N America I might get a few in and start selling them.
