"TA" markings on bottom of stock

Does anyone know what these markings mean? They are on the bottom of the stock in front of the floor plate. See attached picture.

    Thanks,
    Jarrod

Are there any signs of Britishicon issue? Proofs? redpaint? etc.

If so possibly "TA" could stand for "Territorial Army" maybe ..I guess

    Regards,

    Jim
