    K98 scope mount

Will someone please show and tell me the difference between an SSR mount an LSR mount and what do the acronyms mean? I have a few removable Mauser scope mounts and would like to identify them. Thanks

SSR stands for "Short Side Rail" while LSR stands for "Long Side Rail"....

Scan eBay for various Germanicon made scopes and you'll see lots of pics of different models that are referred to as Long or Short side rail versions....
