    Shooting a P14 for the first time

    Sorry is this question seems novice but I must ask, I got a P14 a while back, I know it only holds five rounds but do I need to use a clip like I do in my other Enfields? I'd rather ask than jam stuff in there! Thanks in advance for your help. Any and all input/mockery is welcome!

    Just feed them in one at a time, keeping the cartridges towards the rear of the magazine. See how you did by cycling the bolt until the mag is empty. If they all feed well, then you done good!

    It works either way, single feed or using a stripper clip.

    If by "clip" you mean the detachable lee-enfield box magazine, then no.

    he meant to say a "charger" to load the magazine box , he pointed out he was a novice so i read between the lines :>}
    the info provided is good , id try the single approach - i have with mine , it worked fine , ive not had trouble with the rims missaligning in any of my enfields but i generaly only put a couple-three in at a time so not sure about a full charge ,
    BTW in an M1917 you can get six in there just because of the lack of those pesky rims
