    Question 03 rear sight windage

OK here goes ,i was shooting my 1903 at 300 yds at the local fullbore range ,i tried the windage arrangement and the first time i used i think i over reacted and the bullet went past the center ,so what are the graduations on the windage scale ,and i think you move the rear of the sight toward the bullet impact and the scale is in minutes /.
Lee Enfield shooter so be kind
