Question help with ?s on 2 Mausers.

first i don't know squat about Mausers,a guy has 2 he's looking to let go. 1st is a La corona 8x57,looks like all matching #s, nice bore but finish is only about 70%. 2nd is a butt ugly short 6.5 Swedich Mauser, looks to be some kind of calvary rifle. has a ugly barrel shroud about 7"s long in front covering the sight and has a bayonet lug. belt buckle on the stock by the disk, no #s match. what would be a good offer on these two? The first is common, boring Spanish 8mm Mauser. Worth something like $125-$150.
The second is HIGHLY desirable Swedishicon calvary (as in horseis) carbine. A very nice keeper, worth $500-$600.

Would that be a M-94 Swedishicon Carbine? I just bought one. it has a barrel about 17" long, buckle missing on mine as is wood ahead of barrel band. Otherwise all original and in quite good shape. I have owned several Swedish Mausers but had never seen one like this before. I paid $100 for mine.
