Well..I got it real cheap and that is my excuse. Barrel is 22 1/8 from crown to bolthead. Front sight is sleeved, ramped with blade..the crown is nicely turned. Rear sight is flip up peep/pronghorn configuration on a stepped ramp. There is no handguard, one barrel band 12 1/2 inches from muzzle no front swivel, front of stock is rounded and ends 5 inches to rear of muzzle...no cleaning rod hole. No cartouches or other markings. Model 1898 SN# 344573. I know it is a mongrel...but has a great bore. I figured it was worth $300 as a shooter.Information
