    Venezuelian Mauser

    Hello to all,

I have a Venezuelian Mauser (model 30) which I like very much, but on which cannot find much info.

I did a search option on the forum but nothing came up. Couldn't find anything in the forum library either.

Are they unpopular or just rare?

    Anyone has the contract dates?

    Thanks

Call Dennis Kroh at Empire Arms. He has a Venezuelan Mauser, not sure what model, for sale right now, new condition, going for $900-$1000. He can probably tell you some things about your type of rifle.

The place to find information on military Mausers is a book like Mauser Military Bolt Action Rifles 3rd edition by Robt. Ball.

Or Ludwig Olsen's Mauser Bolt Rifles.

Both are most excellent and heavily illustrated with photographs.

Its the same books Kroh uses.

I goofed. Its Robert Ball's 4th edition of Mauser Military Bolt Action Rifles. The 4th edition is twice+ the size of previous editions. Far better researched.

Mine is signed by the author. Oh, and I'm a named contributor in the Swedishicon section. That's how I got the signed copy.
