Interesting US Bayonet

Hello, I recently picked up a very interesting US army bayonet. Its a 16in US springfield armory bayonet made in 1911. When I went to reasearch it I narrowed it down to either the model 1905 WWI or WWII model. Although the world war 1 era bayonet did not have plastic grips like mine does or a plastic sheath. But it does not resemble the World War 2 era model because it does not have a parkerized blade. Is there a designation for this bayonet? How much is it worth. Pics included. Thanks!

It's a 1905 bayonet made in 1911. It was re arsenal worked for the WW2 rush and probably never got issued for that one either. That explains the finish, grip scales and plastic scabbard. It looks to be blued or parkerized. They were originally bright. The grips were originally wood. The scabbard was canvas wrapped with wood and leather inside. As for it's worth there are many sites that retail this very thing so you could compare rather than take my word for it.

Cole's book shows serial numbers in his sketches. But it doesn't say if they are starting points for that year or just the example he had seen, they are sequential.

Yours is stamped 1911 and between the 1911 and 1912 numbers he shows.
