1954 Barrel.
1957 was the last year of the FTR program, was it not?
No idea on the significance of the paper.
From the location of the "0" on the paper your barrel is a quarter bubble off from being totally level.
WAG or Wild A$$ guess And you were expecting a level headed answer.
Don't worry about it, the barrel is not that far off.

Its a mobile phone sim card.
My '57 FTR has a paper tag too, but a #1!
Now I'm really wondering if this has anything to do with proof testing which was done while the barrel was in the white and the bolt head number to be fitted during final assembly after the rifle was blued.
