P58 white webbing questions

Hey all,

I'm familiar with the standard P58 webbing, but I recently came across a web listing for white P58 holsters for the Browning Hi-Power (unfortunately they are sold out). My questions are, aside from the belt & bayonet frogs, what else of the P58 web kit was made in white and how hard is it to aquire?

Are we talking Brit or Canadian?I know of 1951 Pattern Cdn kit(the green stuff with the American style holes in the belt.)
I have seen that(holsters)in white with brass fittings but I always thought that was"meathead" issue.White PLASTIC bayonet frogs and parade belts I have also seen(and always thought that it looked TACKY too) with plastic keepers and you used your unit or corps belt buckle(Officers wore Sam Brownes)

I know of Brit web gear that also had the US Style grommets on the belts(only along the BOTTOM though) but am not sure about the "Pattern" designation.

I guess it would have helped if I had specified British. I know the belts & BHP holsters were made in white from the same material as the regular (i.e. green) kit and, supposidly, were for use by the RMP. I'm just wondering what else was made & how easy (or difficult) it is to get.

"...what else was made..." Lee-Enfield slings with brass fittings, for parades. Marstar, up here, wants $19.95 each, when they have 'em. A regular sling can be dyed or painted, if you really want one.
"...White PLASTIC bayonet frogs and parade belts..." Generic issue parade kit. The CF used the frogs for parades with the C1A1. Likely still does with the C7.
Plastic is easier and cheaper to make. Far easier to clean and doesn't transfer the white stuff to your uniform. The last thing you want anywhere near your Regimental parade uniform(cavalry usually wears dark blue or black. PBI usually in scarlet. Rifles in green, of course. The current winter greens would show white blancoe, etc.) is anything that might put anything on it. RSM'd have a stroke.

Thanks, Sunray! What got me cruious was seeing a white cotton BHP holster (British pattern), and since this was cotton duck rather than the typical plastic (seen for bayonet frogs, etc.) I was wondering what else had been produced. And yes, I'm planning on getting a white SLR sling...

I'd say they were solely for the Corps of Military Police. Might just be for the Navy. Never seen any other items of it in white.
