Cool book. Show of hands - how many people think it would be cool if western democracies awarded the "Pour le Merite"? (for those who don't know, it was an imperial Prussian award in gold and enamel circa 1870-1918 and looks way-cool. MUCH more sought after than the Iron Cross of its day)
