    Bolt Tool ?

    I got this bolt tool last week. I'm pos. it's GI, but the only pic's I've seen show them having a bolt holding the paw on. This one is pinned and clipped. Any coments?

    The pawl was replaced at a depot along with the rest of the assembly.

    I have seen them with c clip retainers. Never saw one pinned. Yours is the first.

    My GI one has a pointed tensioning screw, and a lock nut holding the pawl on. There are other differences, so I think it is a commercial one. If it is GI, it is different from the one I have.

    Thank you Bill for conferming my suspicions. And to think I only paid $25 for it.The commercial ones I have seen have a one piece base.This one is two pieces. The end with the pin is a seperate piece.GK
