    WTK: Value of 1903A1 Rifles

Can anyone give a reasonable price range for the Springfield 1903A1. Just a ballpark is sufficient figuring a 70+ condition. I know this is a loaded question but am going to look at a 1903A1 Thursday. I have very little info on the rifle and I want to be fair. I also don't want to end up paying more than I should.
    Thanks
    Ron

If the rifle is a mixmaster - refinished with a bunch of WWII parts, it would be considerably less than one from the late 1930s with correct/original stock, bolt, etc. As Chuck said, it is like asking how much is a car worth - is it a pile of rusted parts in the backyard or one that has been carefully maintained over the years.
