    Stock For The Younger Gen.

I picked this up awhile back. OI in slingwell with crossed cannons,Type 4."SPORTSTERIZED". Nice condition and the work is nice. Works real good for the grandsons. Bottom is an Underwood in an LW type 4 stock for comparison.

    Thumbs up

    Great save.
I made something along those same lines out of two total loss damaged stocks. Mine was a lot cruder , but a stock pouch hides the splice completely.
The splicing altered both the comb height and the angle of the buttplate to better fit a petite woman. By mostly pure luck it fit my wife perfectly. Her eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning when she tried it out.
