    Ballistic Coefficient for 30-06

Does anyone know the ballistic coefficient number for the 30-06 greek ammo CMPicon sells? Also if anyone knows the ballistic coefficient for the hornady and federal "made for garand" 30-06 rounds that'd be great.

The reason I ask is I'd like to plug the info into my ballistics computer programs. With these programs it will tell you the trajectory of the rounds.

    Thanks

I'd plug in .400 for calculation purposes. It's not going to be that far off that it would cause you any problems.

Made such an program by myself and its amzing how accurate it is. I have only 2 clicks ( 48mm ) difference between the program and the real shooting.
    .400 will be not bad.

I do not know about the Greek ammo but if it approaches the 30M2 in shape and characteristics ,the BC as I remember it is 0.42 with a 2 radius tangent ogive. If the Greek is anything like the 30M2 this may be close enough. If you can find a table of fire for the Greek ammo you can compute using ballistic tables.

Did anyone get a definitive answer? I hate to bother Federal with this question -- but I also need this information so I can get Leupold to make me a custom reticle for a scout scope.
