With my renewed interest in surplus rifles I got to thinking about where all the old military rifles end up.
I would assume that the vast majority of surviving rifles find their way to the US at some point simply because we have a very large market for them.
But what about the rest. Were they scrapped, are they being kept in stockpiles by the various governments? What percentage still survive in original shootable condition.
How many are still out there. Newest releases in the US seem to be Mosin Nagants from the Ukraine and Swissstraight pull rifles.
