    Question about a "Two-Tone" WWI M1911 Magazine

I was perusing another forum's "TRADER" section and spotted a WWI M1911 "TWO-TONE"(white top on account of cyanide hardening) NON-lanyard loop magazine with a "B" marked lip and nearly fainted at the asking price.

TWO HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS !!

Is this reality or is the owner smoking recreational botanicals or worse ?

He states that it is in"EXCELLENT" condition BUT...$210.00 ??

I was nothing short of thunderstruck/gobsmacked to say the very least.

What sayeth all you M1911/M1911A1 "Gurus/Oracles" is this fantasizing ?

    Cheers,

    John R.

I know a guy in California with an Remington Rand 1911A1 and 2 two-tone mags in the original carton. He paid a fortune 10 years ago.

I would say that the mag in question would be valued at about $75 to $100 in as new condition. $210 would be very wishful thinking. IMO

The "B" marked mags are manufactured by Barnes & Kobert mfg. Co. New Britainicon, Conn.

your not getting one of mine for even that - but then im not in the market for one nor thinking of selling one these days ,

i think its like everything else what a willing seller & buyer can agree on , the problem is always getting the two together ,

if you can find a cheaper one go for it , i would if it were me , but if thats the 'one' i would buy it - thats just me
