They are commercially made in Korea.

I have read on message boards that most people like them. What bothers me is why they mis-describe them as "military". They are imported by a Korean dealer who is located in Virginia. He has been producing commercial Garandicon and Carbine parts in Korea for several years now.

Both their 30 and 15 round magazines are advertised that way. This company has a long history of doing this.

Gentleman - all South Korean weaponry is commercially manufactured. Likewise, our government manufactuers nothing, with the exception of US currency. Respectfully - Jack

What it means is these were commercially produced for importation into the US to be sold to US civilians. They were not made under South Korean Military Contract for issue to the Korean Military.
