    early inland parts transfer question

    howdy

i just got an early inland, that looks all original except for the hammer, which is a winchester dogleg.

War baby says that 2000 hammers were transfered from winchester to inland in march 43. the barrel is dated 2-43. Serial is 247xxx

Does anyone else have an original in this range with the same hammer switch?

    Sounds like...

...your terminology is off. If it left the factory with that hammer , and it sounds like it did , THAT is the original hammer. The "correct" hammer would be the incorrect one
