Bit out of Topic but British Militaria

I was over at a local Jewelry store having them look at some silver from my Father's estate (another of the great generation gone). There were 3 items there I said I would research. I have attached pictures. The first is a set silver RAF wings with quite a bit of open work. It is secured by a single pin and latch. I am thinking they may be something that pilot would give a sweetheart. They seem to be rather dainty for a uniform item. The second is a qualification badge for AP Mechanic. I assume it is RAF. The third is a spitfire lapel pin. Any help would be appreciated.

    Badges

You are correct that the larger set of RAF wings are a "sweetheart" badge, the AP MECHANIC badge is definitely not RAF, looks more US to me. The small spitfire badge is very interesting, many spitfires were funded by the public, they donated to a spitfire fund, this may be a badgepin to show they had made a donation in much the same way as you wear a poppy. Is it marked?

A P Mechanic- Now generally seen as "A&P"- Airframe and Powerplant - in the US at any rate. Not familiar w/ the badge, though, sorry! (It LOOKS of US style to me)

Thanks for all the replies! The badge is definitely US Army Air Corps. I found a reference and picture of it. I will relay the information on the wings. Thaks! Terry
