    Production Dates for Pattern 14's

A lot of information has been provided for production dates for M1917's. But are there any records for Pattern 14's built at Eddystone for the Britishicon? My Eddystone P14's serial number is 5908 and I've always assumed that it was one of the first built by Eddystone at their Baldwin Plant in Pennsylvania, however I don't have an exact date.

I have 1 each Remington, Winchester, and Eddystone P-14's. I'd also like to know their production dates. If anyone has the info it would make a good sticky.

Again Ian Skennertonicon says; A total of 1,235,298 rifles were recorded as being produced on the Britishicon contract. He doesn't seem to give production dates but he shows over 600,000 rifles made at Remington-Eddystone, over 225,000 made at Winchester and over 400,000 made at Remington-UMC. The remainder of the numbers go on and on so I would highly recommend hunting down a copy of The US Enfield by Ian Skennerton. isbn 0 949749 02 8 He also has some priceless illustrations of collector pieces we would all love to have.
