Small Globe Front Sight ?

Does anyone recognize this front sight? I have had it for some time and have no idea where I got it, or what it is for. The overall length is 15/16th inches.

Looks like a Lyman 17. They list several on their website with dimensions.
A 17AMI is listed. John Ed

The 17 AMI sight is listed on the Lyman catalog for several .22 caliber rifles. If interested I shall post a list. Probably usable on any ,22 having a standard commercial dovetail cut.

In thought that I might have bought it for a Mossberg M44 U.S. , so I checked Havlin Sales and they do list it for that rifle. I guess trhat's why I have the sight, although I no longer have rifle.
