    anyone recognize this .303 ammo headstamp?

    anybody recognize this ammo? it is .303 british caliber but i'd like to know if it is safe to shoot in an Enfield Rifleicon and if it is any good. thanks.

    Oh, I didn't know the commies made .303....wasn't that factory near Stalingrad?? Sorry, could not resist - I have my "silly bugger" hat on today (maybe because someone wants to give me a couple of thousand rounds of .303 for free?)

    figured it out... they are iraqi. here is a good source for headstamp info.

    Iraqi........ The trouble is that you just don't know how its been stored. Underground and it's OK but above ground, at extremes of temperature, it's horrid. We used some 9mm in a couple of L34 Sterling SMG's and it bulged both barrels.
