I recently picked this rifle up at a gun show show. I already have a Remington M1917 and wanted to get a Eddystone and a Winchester at some point. This one has obviously been refinished but it was appears to have been really done well. Barrel date is "E 12-18". I understand that it has a
P14 stock. That being said, all of the three wood pieces of this rifle's stock are stamped with "DP" as well as the middle swing swivel band and front collar. What do the "DP" markings mean? The butt disc is gone and was plugged. The stock is in great overall condition. What do you all think, anything I need to be concerned with? Thanks.Information
