OK Frank, Now that I kept it under wraps, tear it apart and lets see what kind of parts it has. From what I can see, looks pretty good. It looks like it has been stored away for a while ( packing in the barrel).

I'm still trying to get some detailed pics, so I thought until I could give some info on my latest.
I bought this Irwin-Pedersen (1781223) from PBI. He was nice enough to let me make payments on it.
It is a "White Bag" carbine that was packed on 11 July '66. It has an Underwood 8-43 barrel that has a flaming bomb and a P on it.
The barrel/receiver, slide (M2) and trigger housing (Inland) are all beutifully reparked.
All the other parts are blued (very nice).
I think all of the springs are new (in 7-'66).
The hammer is white B/R in a circle.
It has a coat of cosmolineicon on it, There is cosmo paper plugs in the chamber and the muzzle.
Now my big question. I would like some opinions please. Do I clean it and shoot it. Or do I leave it as is. I'm not in a hurry to do anything right now, and I have my shooters. Thanks.....Frank

    Frank,

I'm sure it has had several Thousand rounds shot through it in it's History. What will a few Hundred hurt it.

I agree that it's been used before Rusty. I was thinking that there is something about it being redone and packed by the Army, that maybe it should stay that way.....Frank
