    Picked up a MP 40 mag.

    I just bought a MP 40 magazine that is marked 42 with a manufactures mark of gqm with the spread eagle under it. Howver it is marked M.P.38U.40. Is there another semi auto it fits?

    The MP 38 and MP 40 share many parts, the difference being the 38 is far better made. The mags were interchangeable.
