Received my next Garand today, and it was worth waiting for

I ordered a H and R Garand, it came today. What a beauty it is. The wood is almost virgin, just a very few small dings. The cartouches are in place and crisp. The metal is evenly parked, smooth with no rust or pitting. It is tight, very tight, smooth and complete. Everything is H&R except the op rod and the bolt. It was full of cosmolene, and very dirty inside.

I was tempted to go to the range and fire it, but I stayed home and cleaned it, and while I did that, it rained so.......................I'll go tomorrow.

I am just so happy I had to tell somebody. Thanks for listening.
