    Help ID This Saber

Here are pictures of a friends saber. It was made by Pettibone Bros. of Cincinnati, Ohio. The guard is engraved"1898, Puerto Rico, Cuba" and Lt. George Wright, A Cv. Brigade, Ordinance Officer". What is the military proper designation and period for this saber? Is it Navy or Army? Anything else you can provide would be appreciated. THANKS,,,,

It would be for the army. Pettibone Bros. made sabres for the army and Lt. refers to the army. Does it have any metal stamping? Similar era sabres from Pettibone Bros. are going for about 100 bucks if in poor condition. Your pictures are not working. If in good condition it could go for quite a bit more.
