    Original Barrel?

Finally picked up a shooter today. Serial # is 579760. Typical mixmaster. Barrel date is 8-43, making it a replacement, right? I figure the original would probably be mid to late '42. I'll post some pics as soon as I clean her up.

If it is a inland and the sn is 579760 then a 8-43 barrel should be correct. I have a 522k with a 6-43 barrel.
The 522k is an all original gun. Here is a link to some pics of it :inland 522K pictures by usgicollector - Photobucket

Cool! Despite it being a mixmaster, I'm glad to hear that. It has a very faint rebuild stamp on the wrist, but there is a clear TN in the slingwell. Any ideas on this?

Yes, WB shows TRIMBLE/TN was "rarely used" by Underwood. But where is documentation for use of Trimble Nurseryland Furniture Company's stocks by Inland and Saginaw?

Trimble TN stock with SG CC

    Hi Crossed cannons,
I have no documentation on hand, but here's a couple of examples.

    First two pics,
A faintly marked Trimble over TN in the slingwell on a Type II Hi-wood with the boxed SG and CC.

    Charlie-painter777

These next two pictures show the Trimble over TN marking in the slingwell over the number 41 and letters SG over stamped with a B. Along with the boxed SG and CC on the other side. This is also a Type II Hi-wood.
Numbers and letters are commonly found on stocks used by Saginaw.
I don't know what they mean though.

Reisch shows this also, (Trimble stocks for Underwood, Saginaw and NPM). Reish does not show Inland, but there are mistakes in there for sure. I also have a Saginaw high wood stock marked as Charlie's above, with Trimble TN in slingwell. Cannot post pics at this time.
