    1911 Help

    Colt 1911
I am looking at a weird pistol.... Shipped form the Government in 1963 . WWII Arsenal Rework marked SA. BUT! It has Micro Bushing and Sights?????? The slide is Colt the frame , I am not sure , but its stamped US Property.....

Looks in at least GOOD condition. Anyone has an idea what it is ? Value?

It sounds like a bullseye gun. What it was is back then you could buy a USGI 1911 or A1 for around $15 back then. And micro sights for even less. Made one heck of a nice target shooter. And back then national matches were all the rage.

But most likely it's a USGI gun with aftermarket sights installed. Usually micro sights. I've had dozens of them like that over the years. Depending on what it was, probably in the $500-$700 value in neck of the woods.
