    No 1 MkIII Stock repair

Hi all, sorry if I'm a bit off topic, but due to the relevance I hope you'll forgive me.
Quite a few No1 MkIII fore ends dissintegrate just like this and I've done this repair on a few of them.
This one is done except for needing a copper/brass reinforcement wire through the rear. Also I have only part fitted the draws so that I can fit it to the actual rifle when I see the bloke.
The fitting of the little metal tie is a very difficult little fit up, for the next one I'll make an appropriate router jig.
This is always a very time consuming job, and it is not financially worthwhile, but it's nice to keep them going any way.
