Book/Books on 1911/1911A1

What are some good books on just the 1911/1911A1's. the ones with history, lots of pictures and diagrams ect... thanks

They all have history. The first book I would get is Clawson's 3rd Edition of the Collector's Guide. Scott Meadows just came out with a book on the 1911A1, and has one on the 1911 that is out of print.

Yep, the Clawson books are the ones.

Scott Meadows books are well respected as well as the Clawson series.
