    left side receiver peep sight?

I have a sportered Kragicon that my dad gave me a few years ago. It looks like it has had a few things mounted to it sometime in the past as there are about 4 or 5 drilled and tapped holes on the left side of the receiver (two of which held a crappy scope mount until recently). I'd like to put a receiver peep sight on it, but I don't want to have to drill any new holes in the receiver so I'm looking to be able to use at least one of the preexisting holes.

Does anybody know of a good peep sight that mounts to the left side?

    Red,

Too bad about all those holes. A pretty decent peep sight is the Pacific, which came in several versions. You take off the magazine cutout and there is a threaded hole - the sight base fits the slot and there is a thumbscrew to hold it down. They are adjustable for elevation and windage and take a standard diopter. If you use these sights in the field it makes sense to sight in, then loctite things down.

    Good luck!

    Michael,

That's about it. The Pacific has a kind of setscrew that allows you to take the sight loose for cleaning, then when you put it back together it's more-or-less sighted in. But yeah, the less you mess with it, the better it works.
