Scout regt telescopes

Does anybody know anyone in the UK who can repair/restore these telescopes?

Are there parts available or do you have to buy two to provide parts?

And would the cost or repairs be viable?

Any experience or thoughts welcome.

You need to look at that auction site Oxford Andy and co. I put two on there in the recent month or so that were in poor condition but had loads of good spare parts. And they went £35 and £20 or so.

The trouble with them is that you'll find that the spares between manufacturers are not quite interchangable but can be made so at a push, on a lathe if you chase the threads.

It all depends on what you want/need though really...........

I have seen a Broadhurst & Clarkson on "that site", but the seller says the optics are not working, also it is missing what is described by the seller as the inner eye shade.

if it is beyond economic or practical repair, I can wait for a functional example.
