    Kraghaus/sporterized krag project

I've got this 98 Kragicon that someone started to sporterize and didn't finish.

Anyone know where I can get a Krag buttplate and trigger guard for it?
They do not have to be real nice, just someting I can clean up and refinish.

The barrel has been cut to 22 inches, but there is no front sight. Where can I find a sporter sight for it? Is there a commercial one of the right height?

    How about 30-40 brass?

Anyone ever deal with Kraghaus? I ordered a rail from them to put a scope on (in place of the rear sight) because I want to test this before I sink a lot of money in it.

It's been a couple weeks and I haven't received it. The web page said it would ship as soon as funds cleared and my post office money order would have cleared immediately, if they received it.

Anyway, they haven't returned my email, so I haven't been able to find out if they received my order.

    Thanks all,
    Ralph Ed

Peter is usually pretty good at getting things out, maybe the holiday rush. Brass supply is very low, all I see available is on the auction sites. Going prices range from $55/100 to $75/100, depends on how bad someone wants some. It used to be a seasonal run, but the makers have higher priority item to run now.
