15 round marked "SW", is this correct for a Winchester carbine or is it a replacement part ?

A good, but dated, place to start is always M1 / M2 Carbine Magazine FAQ

The reference site you identify seems to suggest that SW was a replacement parts contractor, like Union Hardware, rather than a subcontractor for Winchester like IW, UW or BW. However, I have also seen a much more detailed post (M1 Carbine 15 rnd Magazines) that lists SW as a subcontractor for Winchester. Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Stanley Works for Winchester?
