Didn't find out about the auction until yesterday, WAYYYYYY to late to bid.

My friend got one in simil;ar circumstances in the UKicon. It was in the catalogue as a 'somewhat mutilated' No8 rifle. He bought it cheap, thinking that he could restore it to No8 spec eventually. These things are definately still out there........................

It appears to be one of the 100 or so No 5's that were converted (or made as) to .22. Very rare in the states.
