I said on a few other gun forums that I had bought my last guns of the year; but I changed my mind...I have missed owning a Browning Hi-Power ever since I traded my .40 S&W Hi-Power earlier this year.
On another forum a member was looking to trade an Inglis Hi-Power for an FN49. We connected and made the trade. While I was waiting I started to read about the current crop of imported Hi-Powers, Israeli Military and National Police BelgiumHi-Powers, ranging in date of manufacture from the late 1930s - 1970s. I had tried to buy (on Guns America) a 1936 vintage gun but Guns America doesn't have a buy it now option, but a "make offer to buy" and someone had made an offer to buy the day before. I settled on one from around 1952 vintage, same age as me. This HP was $419 plus $10 shipping; my gun shop charged me $20 per gun for the transfers.
