    Interesting bipod

    Attachment 18775When I first saw this bipod years ago, I asked if I could take some photos. I have never seen another, just to find a photo is difficult, now I know the weapon that uses this bipod.

    answer to quiz

    Jim, You were very close to the answer, it is the Model 1918A1 BAR bipod from 1937. Limited use until the Model 1918A2 went into service.
