Not that I have been paying attention or watching them. The average selling price of the last 10 UNQ's on the CMPicon auction averaged $1900.00 +/-. The high was $3052.00, the low $1585.00.

I wonder how many more they have and where they came from.

They build them at the CMP. They gather the parts from other carbines the re assemble Un Quality complete rifles.

    See CCNL #357 for the total CMPicon UN-Q count. (It's between 50 - 75)

The number firstflabn was referring to is an estimate of how many the CMPicon has or has had, not the total number made.

Union Switch & Signal furnished 28,949 receivers to Quality Hardware & Machine Corp. between August 1943 and March 1944. The UN-QUALITY I restored had a 1-44 barrel.

If I was to choose a rare carbine that anyone could have bought, I would put Marcus's EXP A at the top of the list. One of two known. EXP B is in "War Baby" They are three groove prototype Winchesters.
Marcus bought it on GB five to seven years ago. I saw it and did not bid. Could not see a serial number stamped on the receiver from the pictures. It was there though.

Somebody's going to be very disappointed when they find out that it has a replacement barrel on it.
