    Ghurka Kukri

Any forum members ever involve themselves with Khukuri or Kukri knives? I see Sarco has some and there are places to order them direct from India. They would be great to have in a truck as a back up weapon.

My father brought one back from Burma in 1945. The blade was most like Sarco's "Military 12 inch Khukuri" or "13” heavy blade deluxe kukris". It had an ivory handle and a an aluminum end piece (about the thickness of aircraft skin) very similar to those shown. Collectable Bayonets

I doubt the 18" version is authentic. Balance would be quite different.
