Where have you been Bushy, having a bit of a slum?
TOP. Packet of lens cleaning tissues. LEFT. The flat headed end of the stubby lens cleaning brush RIGHT, the thin shaft of the lens cleaning brush, depending on which brush you got. But don't worry about it. Within a couple of days of issue, the size of the lens cleaning tissue changed from the old yellow commercial KODAK packs to some other off the shelf make that was a European (?) size and I don't ever remember any of the various (there have been about 6 different lens cleaning brushes so far..........) lens brushes ever really fitting into the clips. And if you could get ANY brush into the right hand clip without the shaft breaking, let me know. I think it was to hold a Bedford starting handle given the strength of the grip!

    an age old itch scratched

    Thank you Peter!
I've had my L42 for nearly twenty years now and have always wondered what, those bits were for, searched the on line photo archive for what went where but they were always empty. An excuse for an update to the green bible I feel........prehaps a colour version this time!
and yes have been away for a bit or just festering in the back ground, pressures of work and paying off the national debt single handedly ( or that what it feels like! ) but I digress.

over to you fellow Milsurpers anyone out there who has some/all of the slots filled post a photo.

and again thanks to Peter for the informative and witty reply
