I see the Inland I checked out on GB

Seen this Inland at a friends when returning a bolt I repaired. I'm the one that wrote up the observations listed at the bottom of the page. He had told me he had a carbine come in and wanted me to look it over, so I took along a few tools. After getting back home I typed up my notes. I didn't know he was going to sell it or I'd of made a offer. Now after seeing it on GB and seeing the asking price, I just know I missed my chance at getting it for a cheaper price. Very nice condition with the original NRA sales paperwork and some extras. No punch marks on the rear adj sight. Stock wasn't rebuild/Depot marked. Carbine came from the Erie Army Depot in Ohio.
I had asked a few questions about it on the board here.
    Asking price seems high.
    Am I out of touch?
Anyone recall what Gun Brokers cut is?

Charlie, there are no bids on it now with just a couple of hours left. You can always call up your buddy and make your offer so he don't re-list it. You buying it local will save the FFL and shipping charges plus he knows your check won't bounce (like an unknown buyer's might). So you still have a chance to get it...

Then you can sell it to me for a lower price!

P.S. If that is your write up, it is well-worded and very concise. Wish everyone did that when they posted a carbine for sale.

    Yep,
That's my write up, still have to fill out a data sheet.
I see they've been running it as a 1 day auction all along.
I just think too much $$ to start a auction at.

    JMT,
    Charlie
